Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope you are well. I am writing to let you know about some of the wonderful clubs our children have had the chance to take part in this year, and to make you aware of the clubs that will still be running through our final term.
So far this year we have offered lunchtime and after-school clubs including: KS1 Cooking, Lego, Mad Science, KS2 and KS1 Board Games Club, Origami, Arts and Craft, Hockey, Computer Coding, Multiplication Tables, Science, Basketball, Book, Gardening, Choir and an Eco Club.
For Term 6 we will still be offering: Gardening, Lego, Rounders (KS2, after school), Drama (Y1 up, after school), KS1 Board Games, Book, Computer Coding (Y3 and 4 after school) Cooking (KS1) and Eco Club. Letters for some of these clubs will follow soon.
Also, Gardening Club would like to ask for your help. If you have any old gardening tools that we could have (hand trowels, forks, spades, watering cans, wheel barrows, bamboo canes etc.) or you are able to donate any flowers/plants we can put into our borders and raised beds, we would be very grateful. It could just be that you dig out a small section of an old geranium and pop it in a pot. It would go a long way to brightening up our lovely school!
Finally, if you are able to give up a small amount of your time, we will be weeding and digging over our vegetable patches during half-term on Tuesday 30th May between 10.00am and midday (weather permitting). Please feel free to come along with your child and help, all are welcome. Many thanks in advance.
