Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.
Aspire Achieve Enjoy
At Badock’s Wood Primary School we passionately believe that every person matters, and that no child should ever be given up on, regardless of the issues they present, or the background from which they arrive.
We believe passionately that
v All children can achieve, and all children are individuals;
v Our children should be empowered with the belief that they can become ambitious and independent learners within a safe and secure environment;
v Setbacks should be treated as a challenge;
v All achievements should be recognised and celebrated;
v Children should receive dynamic, exciting and challenging experiences in which they will have every opportunity to fulfil and exceed their potential
v School should foster, nurture and encourage aspirations - from the start of education to places and experiences far beyond it;
v That school should be inclusive, and nurture positive relationships based on trust and respect;
v That school should be positive, creative and fun;
v The school should be integral to the community;
v That staff should be the creators of a school of “deep interest” for all who use it.
We are motivated by, and keen to create a place where all of the following live, breathe and grow:
Pride resilience creativity aspiration inspiration
Respect curiosity excellence co-operation
Risk taking ambition determination
