A welcome from Becky Harriman, our Headteacher

My name is Becky Harriman and I am the head teacher at Badock's Wood Primary School. May I take this opportunity to welcome you to our school

In my previous role, I was deputy head at Greenfield E-ACT academy in South Bristol.  I have very high expectations of the staff here at Badock's Wood in order to ensure the very best care and provision for the children.

Teaching and learning is the key to all we do here.  We want the children to feel both valued and enabled to fulfil their potential. We ensure that within the curriculum the school values are always promoted. The school values are at the centre of the school community and not only promote educational success but pupil well being too.

We want the children to engage in school life and feel prepared to continue their learning journey once they leave us in year 6.  When school and home support each other in partnership, children will be successful and adaptable to any challenges they may face.

We see Safeguarding as our main priority. At the heart of everything within the school, is the safety and happiness of our children.  We will always take any safe guarding concerns very seriously. Please make an appointment to come and see me if you have any safeguarding queries.

Please get in touch if you would like to visit the school. I would be proud to show you around.
